Member Notice - Ballyconnell Merge
Dear Members
We are getting closer to the completion of the Transfer of Engagements to Ballyconnell Credit Union which is scheduled to take place on Monday to Wednesday next, May 26th to 28th. This is an exciting time for us and will result in a stronger and more resilient Credit Union providing greater access to more services and security for all our members.
What Will this Mean to Ballinamore and Carrigallen Members?
Both our offices in Ballinamore and Carrigallen will continue to operate as they are and we will undertake a review of our Opening Hours in the future to enhance these hours where possible. All Members will have immediate access to the offices in Ballyconnell which is open from Tuesday through to Saturday (including lunch time opening) and Swanlinbar on Friday.
Your Account Number will change by adding 100,000 to the existing number e.g. if your Account Number is 4567 it will become 104567.
Members who use our Website will be redirected to the Ballyconnell Website on their first log-in after Transfer.
Members who use our App will need to delete the Ballinamore Credit Union App and download the Ballyconnell Credit Union App on their first log-in after Transfer. When logging in online you will need to use your new Account number as outlined above but your PIN remains the same.
Will there be any Disruption to Services during the Transfer?
There will be some unavoidable disruption on Monday 26th and Tuesday, May 27th to allow the technical elements of the Transfer be completed. We apologise for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Our Web and App services will be UNAVAILABLE from 9am on Monday May 26th until approximately 5.30 pm on Tuesday, May 27th.
- Our office in Ballinamore will be CLOSED on Tuesday, May 27th to allow the technical aspect of the Transfer to take place. We reopen as usual on Thursday 29th and in Carrigallen on Friday 30th as usual.
- We encourage Members to complete any Web or App funds transfers over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday
Is there any Action Required to my Account as a Member of Ballyconnell Credit Union?
There is no specific action you need to take at this stage. We will be in touch directly on Web Access once the Transfer is complete.
