From Friday afternoon 15th March - Monday 18th March 2024, the European SEPA Payment Schemes will undergo a mandatory change. All Irish banks and credit unions may experience delays in payment processing over this weekend. As a result, SEPA payments (Euro payments across Ireland & the EU) made on Friday 15th may not be credited to the beneficiary account until Monday March 18^th and may not appear in customer accounts over the weekend as is the case normally. The Irish Banking Community advise all customers to make payments on Thursday 14^th March or early Friday morning 15^th March to ensure that the beneficiary account is credited on Friday
